great work and very good for your second try, you should have seen my second try
I feel strange giving you advice because all your other work is so amazing.
but I think this would have looked better if you used either more trigons , circles or ovoids in the wings instead of the two line things and it can also look better if the wing symbols match all the way across, instead of mixing the ovoids with the lines ( but that is not always true)
anyways great job and I really like how you made the neck and head.
Also more then just USA tribes created this style of art and many pacific northwest coast natives think that the border ( between Canada and USA) is just an imaginary line created by the Europeans.
*lol* Yes, around here the wood ducks actually live in the trees (hollowed out branches and such...) and it's wildly funny to watch a duck scramble-landing up in a tree and start "quacking".
Critique like that is exactly what I'm looking for, so thank you!! I'd have to agree that I think keeping the symbols consistent on the wings would look better. 'Twill be changed as I refine this one I think. Feel free to advise away, I am open to any teachings you have to share!
And you are very right about the tribes and I knew that, but for some reason I tacked on the USA in my hurry to post. Oops.

quack quack. nice drawing. I remember the first time seeing a duck come out of a tree, and quacking around. Sundri your right, you do get a good laugh out of it. Its amazing how pretty the drake is with all the colouring.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
